A Bit About Me
The short story is—my high school AP Psychology class was extraordinary. The rest, as they say, is history. Short-story aside, I pursued psychology because I became instantly curious about the human brain. That turned into a never-ending thirst for knowledge. At least not yet. Some odd (eleven) years later, I am a licensed psychologist in California; I have training and experience working with individuals across the lifespan, mental health challenges, and clinical settings.
Because I am a first-generation Vietnamese American, gay, and gender-nonconforming presenting, I am intimately familiar with how stressful life can be for people with marginalized identities. I am capable of working with clients from various backgrounds, mental health concerns, and age populations. I am honored and privileged to walk alongside my clients as they navigate life, with its ups and downs, clear skies and cloudy days, the calm and storms.
When clients are ready for company, I welcome questions about where to start.
